We, Caro&Dalia created this movement to build awareness in our everyday lives and communities regarding health, nutrition and fitness. Many of us believe that what we know as “home cooking” equates to healthy eating as the food is not fast and is prepared at home. This movement teaches our members how to eat healthy, by cooking clean meals by their own hands so they become aware of what they are putting into their bodies and how to nourish them with power foods. As time goes by, our members learn how to love the food that love their bodies and incorporate exercise as a part of their daily lives, while being supported in an atmosphere of love and encouragement by their peers. We, Caro&Dalia believe that if we become healthy together, our families become healthy, our communities become healthy, our country becomes healthy, our generation becomes healthy, and ultimately humanity is preserved.
In the Caro&Dalia Movement we are:
1. Building Awareness for Healthier Choices. By making folks aware of the foods that they nourish their bodies with, thus preparing them to make healthier decisions for themselves as well as their families.
2. “Prevention is better than Cure.” As we change and build awareness of nutrition, we are ultimately preventing diseases which result from long term unhealthy eating.
3. Building Confidence and Belief in Oneself. We are creating an army of men and women that are super confident about themselves, and are equipped to create any kind of change in their lives and celebrate their “new selves”.
4. Social Responsibility and Team Work. Our movement teaches our members about togetherness and team work, and emphasizes that you are not alone during your journey to a healthy lifestyle. Everyone feels obligated to assist and encourage each other along the way, as we do our best to cultivate a positive, supportive group dynamic among our members.

Our movement is a community of folks who have decided to make health and fitness a lifestyle for themselves, so you are never alone as your brothers and sister are walking alongside you in this journey.
We believe that health and wellness should be affordable to everyone in our community and the world at large, and this process starts with basic clean eating and exercise. As we all know “prevention is better than cure” and prevention is also cheaper. For these reasons alone, we offer this service to you at a bare minimum fee as compared to the others in the industry.

This movement began initially as a carnival challenge as both Carolyn and Dalia are originally from Trinidad & Tobago and carnival is a major part of their Caribbean culture. Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival, otherwise known as the “Greatest Show on Earth” is a season which begins immediately after Christmas and ends Ash Wednesday of the upcoming year. On Carnival Monday and Tuesday there is a parade of bands consisting of men and women of all ages, wearing costumes depicting cultural, social and historical themes that represent the diversity of the beautiful twin islands. Months leading up to the actual Carnival, women (and men too) become obsessed with getting their bodies in shape as they will be show-casing their costumes in the streets on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. In order to gain their desired results, some may over exert themselves with exercise, resort to quick-fix diets or even starve themselves if they feel desperate to get that “carnival body.” Once Carnival has concluded, many folks revert to their old habits of poor eating and no exercise simply anticipating next year’s carnival festivities.
Caro & Dalia created this group with the intent to help their community make fitness and healthy eating a lifestyle rather than seasonal. Carolyn recently being a Bikini Fitness Pro and Dalia with her past as a NCAA Division 1 Soccer Player created this movement from their very own fitness journey.
